The Zartir Fellowship is a year-long incubation program funded by Whitt Family Foundation and implemented by Impact Hub Yerevan. The mission is to empower social entrepreneurs, researchers, individuals, and organizations working in fields including but not limited to maternal well-being, child welfare, domestic violence prevention, animal rights, veterans, disability support, etc.
Impact Hub Yerevan has actively partnered with the Whitt Family Foundation. Since 2018, nearly 80 individuals have participated in this program!

Who Should Apply?
- Aspiring entrepreneurs, early-stage startups, and innovators with bold ideas and committed to driving social impact.
- Individuals or teams regardless of whether or not they are registered as a business yet.
- Entrepreneurs and early-stage startups that are committed to attending program activities.
Focus areas include, but are not limited to:
- Maternal well-being.
- Child welfare, including malnutrition and nutrition education.
- Domestic violence prevention.
- Animal rights and welfare (including the management of street animals).
- Support for veterans.
- Welfare of people with disabilities.
If your project addresses a pressing issue outside these areas, we still encourage you to share your ideas. Our goal is to support impactful solutions that make a meaningful difference in communities.
Project Timeline
Application Deadline: March 6, 2025 | 23:59 (Armenian Local Time).
Program Start: April 2025.
Program End: March 2026.
Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed based on the following criteria:
- Accuracy of Application Form: Completeness, clarity, and alignment of the information provided with the program’s objectives.
- Value Creation: Well-defined description of how the idea creates value.
- Financial Viability: The idea’s potential to achieve financial sustainability.
- Business Idea is Innovative/Creative: Originality and creativity, emphasizing fresh solutions to existing problems.
- Execution capacity and motivation: The applicant should have the planning and organizational skills, necessary time, energy, motivation, and availability to dedicate to the venture.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews, and the final selection will be made by a jury committee from the Whitt Family Foundation and Impact Hub Yerevan.
