Empowering Entrepreneurial Ideas at Yerevan State University
Held on October 18–19 at Yerevan State University, the first National Ideathon YSU 2025 was a dynamic two-day event organized by IRIS Business Incubator and Impact Hub Armenia, in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics and Management of YSU and the YSU Business Incubator.
The Ideathon was implemented within the framework of the Three4ResilientArmenia program, funded by the European Union, with the goal of supporting social inclusion and economic integration.
The event brought together 50+ participants from Yerevan and various regions of Armenia, including displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh, students, and aspiring entrepreneurs.
All participants shared one common goal: to transform ideas into sustainable business solutions.
What Participants Experienced
Throughout the two-day Ideathon, participants:
- Learned how to generate, refine, and validate business ideas
- Explored tools for market analysis and idea feasibility assessment
- Developed skills in presenting and pitching business concepts
- Received mentorship from experts in finance, marketing, accounting, and business development
- Worked in teams, strengthening collaboration and leadership skills
- Presented their ideas to a jury in a pitching format
The program combined learning, teamwork, and hands-on practice, creating an engaging and supportive entrepreneurial environment.

The National Ideathon YSU 2025 became more than an event — it served as a launchpad for new ideas, partnerships, and entrepreneurial journeys.

As part of the Three4ResilientArmenia economic integration component,
7 Ideathons are planned for 2025–2026, including:
- 4 regional Ideathons
- 3 national Ideathons
These events aim to promote entrepreneurship among target groups through the development of viable and impactful business ideas.
The Three4ResilientArmenia project is funded by the European Union and implemented by Armenian Caritas, the IRIS Business Incubator Foundation, and the Impact Hub Armenia Social Innovation Development Foundation. The project aims to promote the social cohesion and economic integration of refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh and host communities.
