Description and Goal

The Ucom Fellowship Incubation Program by Impact Hub Yerevan is a program designed to nurture and empower early-stage projects that combine technology with environmental solutions. This fellowship provides a unique platform for budding entrepreneurs and innovators to turn their ideas into impactful solutions that address environmental sustainability challenges.

The Ucom Fellowship aims to support talented individuals and teams exploring innovative ways to integrate technology with environmental sustainability. The program focuses on guiding fellows through the process of validating their initial ideas, refining their business models, and developing prototypes or Minimum Viable Products (MVPs).

Impact Hub Yerevan will equip fellows with essential skills through customized training sessions on circular economy principles, business acumen, and technical capabilities. Fellows will receive one-on-one guidance from experienced mentors who will provide them with in-depth feedback and support crucial for navigating the initial stages of project development.

• Idea validation and refinement
• Workshops developing entrepreneurial knowledge
• Mentorship by entrepreneurs/professionals in their area of practice from Ucom
• Expert consultation services in areas like market analysis, sustainability, and technology development
• Membership at Impact Hub Yerevan
• Facilitated professional networking and peer learning
• The best 3  ideas will receive a financial award of 400,000 AMD each at the end of the project

Those who complete the fellowship program will also have the opportunity to sign up for a special Alumni Membership at Impact Hub Yerevan, giving them the ability to maintain long-term relationships and enjoy the benefits that Impact Hub Yerevan has to offer beyond the scope of their fellowship.

Timeline

• The length of the fellowship is eight months
• Application deadline: April 13, 2026, 11:59 PM (Armenian local time)

The selected projects are expected to produce a minimum viable product (MVP) by the end of their fellowship.

Target Group 

The target group of this program includes individuals, teams, startups, and entrepreneurs in Armenia who are working at the intersection of technology and environmental sustainability, and have the potential for scalability and measurable impact.

Eligibility

All bold and daring individuals/teams bringing an innovative approach to addressing environmental challenges with the help of technology are eligible to apply.

Those selected for the Fellowship program must commit to pursuing their initiative as a top priority (i.e., with at least 70% of their time) and promise to participate in at least 70% of programs, events, and community activities at Impact Hub Yerevan.
