Introducing the Three4ResilientArmenia Pre-Acceleration Program! This 5-month program is designed to strengthen agriculture and agri-related businesses led by displaced entrepreneurs and locals affected by conflict in the Syunik region.
Participants will gain the tools, knowledge, and connections needed to expand their businesses, attract investment, and contribute to a more resilient local economy.
Program Overview
The Three4ResilientArmenia Pre-Acceleration Program supports 15 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) working in the agriculture and agri-adjacent sectors across Syunik province.
Through hands-on training, tailored mentorship, and coaching, participants will refine their business models, strengthen market linkages, and prepare for sustainable growth.
This program is part of the Three4ResilientArmenia project, funded by the European Union and implemented by Armenian Caritas, IRIS Business Incubator, and Impact Hub Armenia Social Innovation Development Foundation.
Program Objectives
- Validate their core business model through structured customer discovery and market analysis.
- Develop or refine an existing product/service to meet market standards.
- Establish initial connections with potential buyers, partners, and financial institutions.
- Create a business plan, becoming ready for due diligence and investment.
- Improve their financial management, leadership, operational management, and pitching capabilities.
Who Can Apply?
The program is open to entrepreneurs and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating in the agriculture and agri-adjacent sectors in Syunik province, including:
- Agriculture (e.g., harvesting solutions, crop preservation & transportation, technological solutions, etc.)
- Rural development (e.g., field protection, water and/or waste management, minimizing disaster risks, eco-friendly/green projects, etc.)
- Agri-tourism (e.g., family farming, farm stores, farm-tourism, gastro-tourism, local winemaking, mini cheese factories, mini cattle farms, etc.)
- Ideas for the development of the healthy food sector
- Innovative technologies of beverage production (winemaking, etc)
We welcome applications from individuals and teams who are ready to strengthen their businesses, explore new markets, and contribute to local economic resilience. Up to 70% of beneficiaries will be from the displaced population, while 30% will be from local communities.
The program is open to:
- Entrepreneurs displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh in 2020 and 2023 who restarted their business activities in Armenia
- Businesses run by participants of the 2020 war, that are operational with strong growth potential
- Local businesses affected by the conflict, that are operational with strong growth potential
Your idea to scale up your business should also promote sustainable development and strengthen local communities in Syunik. Participants are expected to commit 5–7 hours per week to workshops and mentoring.
What You Will Get
- Capacity Building – Up to 14 expert-led workshops covering business fundamentals, marketing, sales, investment readiness, and more.
- Mentorship and Coaching – Personalized guidance from local and (based on request/need) international experts (up to 9 hours per enterprise).
- Business Matching Events
- Due Diligence and Investment Support – Preparation for VIA Fund evaluation and potential financing.
- Financial Support – The top 10 enterprises will be eligible for grants averaging €10,000 through the VIA Fund.
- Networking Opportunities – Join Impact Hub Yerevan’s network of over 340 changemakers and gain access to global connections in 100+ countries.

- Program Duration: December 1, 2025 – April 30, 2026

Selection Criteria
Applications will be evaluated to be included in the program based on:
Business Viability – problem/customer fit and alignment with local value chains.
Scalability – Market potential and replicability.
Team Capacity and Commitment – Experience & time dedication.
Innovation – Uniqueness of the solution.
Clarity of Application – Clear, complete, and professional.
A jury of representatives from Armenian Caritas, IRIS Business Incubator, Impact Hub Armenia, VIA Fund, and the agriculture sector will review all applications.
At the program’s conclusion, 10 participants will be selected for grant funding averaging €10,000 each, based on their final pitch and due diligence results.
