The EU-Funded Capacity Building in the Field of International Non-Formal Learning Mobility (CB-ILM) project, an Erasmus+ Youth initiative, is now underway! This program empowers youth organizations to design and implement international learning activities that foster employability, entrepreneurship, and leadership among young social innovators.
Program Overview
CB-ILM enhances the capabilities of youth organizations from the EU and the Eastern Neighborhood region to collaborate across borders. Funded by the European Union, coordinated by Social Impact Award Austria and Germany, and implemented by a consortium of six organizations from Armenia, Georgia, Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, including Impact Hub Yerevan, this initiative focuses on practical, hands-on learning to strengthen the capacities for youth non-formal learning mobility.
Program Objectives
- Build Capacity by developing and delivering a specialized program to strengthen organizations’ ability to manage international non-formal learning projects.
- Foster Collaboration by piloting international youth seminars that bring together young changemakers from different countries.
- Create Resources by producing and disseminating a practical Handbook for youth organizations on implementing cross-border learning mobility.
- Drive Impact by promoting social inclusion, innovation, and sustainable youth development in line with the European Youth Strategy.
Who Benefits?
The project is designed for:
- Youth organizations and youth workers in Austria, Germany, Slovakia, Czechia, Armenia, and Georgia.
- Organizations working in the fields of youth entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, civic engagement, and youth empowerment.
- Young people (18-30) from Slovakia, Czechia, Georgia, and Armenia, who are aspiring social entrepreneurs, changemakers, and community leaders.

Methodology
The project employs an experiential “learning by doing” approach. It combines online workshops, field visits, and collaborative learning activities to ensure practical skill development and foster mutual learning and long-term collaboration.
Expected Impact
- Reach over 2 million young people through online channels.
- Train and empower over 1,000 youth workers and organizations.
- Directly engage 40+ young social innovators in international pilot programs.
- Build a stronger, more collaborative ecosystem for youth mobility across borders.
