The Art of (anti) Corruption exhibition is the culmination of the Art of (anti) Corruption Poster Competition and Exhibition, implemented in collaboration with curator/artist Samvel Saghatelian. Over 70 artists, from Gyumri to New York and Belgium to El Salvador, participated in the competition, and 35 were selected to enter the final exhibition.

The exhibition is part of the Art of (anti) Corruption campaign, a year-long series of events implemented by Impact Hub Yerevan in partnership with the European Union Delegation in Armenia. Through artistic and cultural interpretations of corruption in Armenia, the Art of (anti) Corruption campaign seeks to empower artists to shine a creative light on the complicated effects of corruption on Armenian society and beyond.

Why Posters?

Posters are a powerful medium for social change. A megaphone for dreamers, the frustrated, and the oppressed, they serve as a record of societies’ struggles for peace, social justice, and political reform. Their sharp messages and arresting imagery make them extremely effective in raising awareness and influencing opinion, and thus they remain one of the most persuasive and resonant tools with which artists drive social change.

We are proud to partner with the European Union Delegation in Armenia and with these incredibly talented artists to bring this exhibition to you.
