The Three4ResilientArmenia project is funded by the European Union and implemented by Armenian Caritas BNGO, the IRIS Business Incubator Foundation, and the Impact Hub Armenia Social Innovation Development Foundation

 

The project aims to promote the social cohesion and economic integration of refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh and host communities.

 

Project Objectives

Our primary objectives focus on enhancing the quality of life for both refugees and host communities through comprehensive socio-economic initiatives, while also promoting entrepreneurship to enable sustainable business opportunities. 

 

Expected Results:

  • 100 individuals receive Full cycle of employment support including case management, career orientation, vocational and soft skills’ trainings, consumption support for transportation costs and professional toolkits; 
  • 100 individuals receive Livelihood support including case management, business consultations, mentorship, consumption support and provision of machinery/equipment and animals for agricultural activities 
  • 120 HHs benefit from small scale renovations or rental subsidies.
  • 2 Creative centres developed as social enterprises to sustain continued capacity building
  • 380 young entrepreneurs participate in regional and national Ideathon events
  • 320 self-employed and startups engaged in business model development
  • 160 developed business plans developed
  • 100 self-employed and/or startups receive direct funding support (50 x 2,100 EUR and 50 x 6,000 EUR)
  • 30 entrepreneurs supported in pre-acceleration activities and 8 entrepreneurs in Acceleration.
  • 25 entrepreneurs receiving direct funding support aimed at significant growth and market expansion (20 x 10,000 EUR, 3-4 x 20,000 and 1-2 x 60,000 EUR).
  • Socialization and networking events organised to facilitate smooth integration of refugees into the social life of communities 
  • Networking events engaging displaced and local individuals from creative sectors organized to promote their integration into the existing creative communities 
  • Capacities of relevant state agencies are improved aiming to improve state integration strategies 
  • NGO Forum on Social Integration established and operational
  • 2 participants from the Acceleration and Pre-Acceleration programs will have the opportunity to attend international expos and trade fairs, gaining exposure to global best practices, networking opportunities, and insights into their respective sectors.

  • Market research to identify opportunities for commercialization.

 

Networking and Social Inclusion

  • Social events, ideathons, and community-building activities.
  • Professional networking sessions with investors, industry experts, and potential partners.

 

Policy and Advocacy

  • Strengthening public-private partnerships to enhance integration policies and employment strategies.
  • Support for CSOs working in migration and refugee protection to amplify voices and influence decision-making.

Eligibility

We welcome displaced individuals and host community members who seek to build sustainable careers and businesses in Armenia. You are eligible to apply if you are:

  • A job seeker, self-employed individual, or business owner (startup, SME, or creative professional).
  • A displaced individual from Nagorno-Karabakh or a member of the host community.
  • Interested in entrepreneurship, creative industries, or business growth.
  • Seeking financial support, mentorship, and market access to scale your career or business.
