On November 12, Impact Hub Yerevan hosted a dynamic speed-mentoring event as part of the Ucom Fellowship Incubation Program 2025, creating a powerful bridge between aspiring green entrepreneurs and Armenia’s leading experts.
The event brought together the fellows, visionaries developing tech and circular economy solutions, with a curated panel of mentors for a fast-paced exchange of insights, strategies, and real-world guidance.
The fellows, each tackling a unique environmental challenge, moved between tables to gain targeted advice from mentors, including Silva Mesropyan, Liana Margaryan, Narek Aleksanyan, and Aline Masrelian.
They were joined by Nune Grigoryan, PR and Communications Expert at Ucom, who provided crucial guidance on crafting compelling narratives and engaging the public, a critical skill for any mission-driven venture.
“The Ucom Fellowship program is not simply an educational initiative for us, but a platform for bringing Armenian green innovations to life. We provide experience, guidance, and industry knowledge that can accelerate growth and transform ideas into practical solutions. That’s why we will continue to support projects that address environmental challenges and contribute to the country’s sustainable development,” noted Ucom CEO Ralph Yirikian.
The discussions were intense and productive, covering everything from business scaling and environmental program development to the nuts and bolts of strategic planning, marketing, and fundraising.
“The Ucom Fellowship is designed to provide more than just theoretical knowledge; it’s about creating tangible pathways for growth,” said Gevorg Poghosyan, Executive Director of Impact Hub Yerevan. “This mentoring event provided our fellows with direct access to the expertise and networks necessary to transform their innovative ideas into viable, impactful businesses.”
This initiative underscores a powerful collaboration between Ucom and Impact Hub Yerevan, united by a shared commitment to bridge the gap between visionary ideas and market-ready, sustainable solutions. By empowering these entrepreneurs, they are actively strengthening Armenia’s position in the global green economy.
The event may have lasted only a few hours, but the connections forged and the insights gained will resonate for much longer, accelerating the journey of these green innovations from concept to real-world impact.
