In light of the regional elections in the Fall of 2016 and Parliamentary elections in the Spring of 2017, Impact Hub Yerevan is hosting a series of talks for Hub members with individuals representing various parties within Armenia’s current political landscape, as well as with members of Armenia’s government.
Armen Gevorgyan was the second guest of the “Straight Talk” series. Mr. Gevorgyan is currently serving as Secretary of Armenia’s National Security Council and has worked within Armenia’s public sector since 1997 – previously holding the positions of Deputy Prime Minister as well as First Assistant to the President. Mr. Gevorgyan discussed the challenges Armenia has struggled with throughout its years of independence and identified 3 general areas of critical focus – education, justice and peace. The talk was followed by an intensive Q&A session with the Hub community. The conversation was moderated by Impact Hub co-founder Raffi Kassarjian.
