Description
We are proud to introduce the Employment and Entrepreneurship Promotion Program, an initiative focused on providing support and opportunities for forcibly displaced women and youth from Artsakh. Through a comprehensive approach including socio-psychological assistance, skills development, and access to the labor market, the program aims to empower participants and facilitate their integration into the local economy.
Goals & Benefits
The main goals of the program are to:
- Encourage social inclusion and economic empowerment.
- Provide participants with essential job hunting and entrepreneurial skills.
- Give access to vocational training and professional internships.
- Support the establishment of small businesses through grants and support.
Timeline
- Application Deadline: April 10, 2024
- Program Duration: May 2024 to December 2024
- Course Duration: 2.5 months (May 2024 to August 2024)
- Frequency of Classes: 2 days a week
- Duration of Lessons: 3 hours each
Eligibility
To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Have been displaced from Artsakh in 2020 or 2023.
- Reside in Goris or neighboring rural and urban communities.
- Be between 20 to 60 years old.
- Demonstrate a desire to develop job hunting and/or entrepreneurial skills.
- Show interest in pursuing a paid professional internship or starting a business.
