Armenia made it! Impact Hub Yerevan and UNDP in Armenia are proud to announce that our very own home grown Dasaran Educational Program made it to the top of the #Accelerate2030 international finalists and is going to Geneva!
Dasaran Educational Program, along with four other entrepreneurs, selected with the support of the global Impact Hub network, will participate in the Social Good Summit Geneva, Switzerland on October 6th 2016. During their stay in Geneva they will be connected with a dynamic ecosystem of impact investors, representatives from international organizations and governments, experts from the global supply chain and fellow entrepreneurs – all committed to scaling innovative ideas that accelerate the achievement of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals.)
The road to the top was not easy.
Prior to announcing the finalists chosen by the international jury, Armenia had an extremely competitive national selection on September 5th. Hosted by Impact Hub Yerevan and UNDP, 11 selected applicants had the chance to pitch their ideas to the local selection committee. Dasaran was one of the three Impact-Driven organizations chosen by Armenian jury that later competed with 28 other enterprises from 10 countries.
Runners up from Armenia were News Deeply and One Armenia, both Impact Hub member ventures.
