On November 4, we celebrated two significant milestones at Impact Hub Syunik!
Impact Hub Armenia Social Innovation Development Foundation (Impact Hub Yerevan) was proud to participate in the opening ceremony of Impact Hub Syunik, the first Impact Hub established in the regions of Armenia. This undertaking was made possible thanks to the financial support of our valued partner the ACBA Federation.
Welcoming speeches were made by the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economy of RA, Rafayel Gevorgyan, the Head of Cooperation Section of EU Delegation to Armenia, Frank Hess, the General Director of ACBA Federation, Harutyun Poghosyan, and the CEO of Impact Hub Yerevan, Gevorg Poghosyan, after which they proudly participated in Impact Hub Syunik’s red ribbon cutting ceremony.
Yesterday also marked the final pitching event of the Stronger Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in Syunik – Supporting vulnerable and displaced people (SEES) project, implemented with the support of the European Union Rapid response mechanism of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Facility.
We are excited about the developments taking place in the region of Syunik and are certain that Impact Hub Syunik will create fertile grounds for social enterprises to grow. The agenda yesterday also included a multi-stakeholder advocacy panel discussion, which aimed to improve the entrepreneurial environment in Syunik. Such discussions will occur more frequently in the future, creating an atmosphere in the region for local social enterprises to connect, develop and thrive!
Congratulations to the Impact Hub Syunik team!
