“Reduce. Reuse. Recycle” … one of the golden rules in environmental sustainability. At our “Zero Waste” event, American University of Armenia circular economy experts Harutyun Alpetyan and Dr. Mirzoyan Natella together with Impact Hub member Mkhitar Avetisyan, presented waste management solutions which have already been implemented in Armenia. They also addressed the present day challenges we face both locally and globally related to conservation of resources by means of responsible production, consumption, reuse, and recovery of all products, packaging, and materials. Lastly, small changes we can make in our everyday lives was discussed in order for all of us to take a step closer to a (near) zero waste future.
