Impact Hub Yerevan’s “Look Who’s in Town” series presented: The Power of Partnerships: U.S. Trends that Entrepreneurs around the World Can Use for Profit, People & the Planet

What should profit-making enterprises consider if they also want to measurably advance social and environmental benefits?
We had a packed house join us at the UN offices in Yerevan for a discussion with Matt Bogoshian, former Obama Administration official from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. He shared news on recent social enterprise and impact investing trends he has seen in the U.S. and what they could mean for entrepreneurs everywhere.

“How can we nurture this trend in Armenia? How can we encourage impact investing instead of charity, and entrepreneurs with social and environmental goals?” asked someone during the discussion. “Through proof,” answered Matt Bogoshian. “For-benefit businesses are useful, successful… and consumers love it.”

Thank you CivilNet.TV and Charlotte Poulain for the excellent summary and discussion of Matt Bogoshian lecture focused on “the 4th sector.”
