Astronomy in the World and in Armenia
25 November 2018 - yerevan

We were “starstruck” last week when Dr. Areg Mickaelian, director of Armenia’s Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory, took us with his talk through a journey to outer space – light years away towards stars and galaxies, all the way back to Impact Hub Yerevan. There was much to learn, as Armenia has made many great contributions to astronomy, and remains to this day the regional center and leader in the field.

A huge thanks to Dr. Mickaelian for the talk. We are incredibly lucky to have him in our community through the frames of the Fellowship for Transformative Ideas.
