Fellowship Program Manager

Anna Vasilyan was born and grew up in Yerevan, Armenia. She obtained a Master's degree in International Economic and Monetary Relations from the Armenian State University of Economics.

At the age of 20, she and a team of startup founders based in New York launched a tech startup space and incubation initiative in Yerevan. At that time, given the early development of Yerevan’s startup culture in 2013, their main goal was to understand how the ecosystem worked for a small startup to become a successful business. A year later, she joined Startup Wise Guys - Europe's leading B2B startup accelerator in Tallinn, Estonia - to gain the necessary experience for her startup space in Yerevan. During her three month internship there, she worked closely with the Accelerator's management team and 10 companies from 9 different countries.

Upon her return to Yerevan, together with her team in the US, she continued to support the 5 startups in their space, which was soon closed after all the member companies graduated.

Anna met the co-founders of Impact Hub Yerevan in the early stages of its development and was very inspired by their vision and impact-driven work. Just before its official opening, Anna joined the staff as Community & Space Manager. Her main excitement and goal at the Hub is to connect members for experience sharing and potential partnerships.
Anna remains a startup ally and runs a publication covering the tech and entrepreneurial scene in Armenia.
