Alexandre Akchatel was born in Brussels and later grew up in the US and France. He then studied in the United Kingdom, completing his bachelors in Economics at the University of Birmingham followed by a masters in Emerging Economies & International Development at King’s College London.
Professionally, Alex started his career in the world of Public Relations and Public Affairs within a consulting group in London and then joined Infosys, a management consulting firm specialising in strategy and IT transformation. At the hub, Alex mainly works with accelerator programmes, providing operational and business support to start-ups. He is particularly interested in the transition towards a circular economy at all levels of society, should it be via entrepreneurship, government, non-profits and corporate.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys live music in any shape or form and the outdoors. He is an avid skier and strives to visit unusual destinations throughout the globe, understanding the local politics, economy and most importantly, culture, among other things.
